Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I am so glad that my Saturday class is finally over! I'm not going to know what to do with myself come the weekend. I do know that it's my friend's 21st birthday, so that means we are going to be going out Saturday evening. Hopefully it will be fun . . .

I have a professional dinner to attend to tomorrow night. We are going to the Bavarian Inn which means super good food. It's always a good thing when work sends you somewhere where there is good food!

Only 2 more months of classes! Yeah, I know. That seems like an awful lot, but it's really not. Only about 7 more weeks and I'm finito with this semester. I also met the class I am going to be teaching next semester. They don't seem like too terribly bad of a group . . . But apparently they have become accustomed to being called the idiots. HAHAHA

Okay, back to filing tax returns for the 6 previous years. Gotta love it when people think they know what they are doing . . .

I'm sick from a flu shot I just got yesterday! Can you believe how quickly that virus can hit you? I was amazed because I don't think I was sick prior to the shot. At least I didn't feel like it. Then 5 hours later it hit me like a train.

So no big winner in the contest. Got outvoted to an oversinger, but such is how things go! But again, another contest started last night so I'll enter that here in the next few weeks. This one has a bigger prize anyway!

Homecoming is this weekend!! Sooo excited about it. Hopefully I will be feeling better by then so I can have a little fun. I'm dragging Tater to the game with me and if Jonah's off I'll get him to come, too, but I'm sure he'll be working. He always is.

I have 2 more 350-page reports to do by next Friday. Looks like someone is going to be taking work home this weekend. There's just no way I can get all this done with everything else I have to do: supervising payroll and payables, training a new employee of our clients on A/P and inventory, financial statements, tax returns, a dissolution. Geesh. All this by next week. Hrmph. I love my job, don't get me wrong, but sometimes I seriously think they look at me as super woman. I just want to have enough work to get me by and not have to stress about things because it's been non-stop for a while now. And it's definitely not going to be letting up because the week after next I start the City's audit which will go until the end of November. Then come December is year-end work (where I will need to be trainind and supervising our paraprofessionals how to do the job), then it's DUH-DUH-DUH tax season!!!!

I thought I was only supposed to have 2 busy seasons? Not a constant one!
